Anthony Lim

Founder/Executive Chairman

Anthony is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Acclaim. He had served as the longest serving President of Singapore Insurance Brokers Association (SIBA) from 1998 to 2010. He was also the first person in Asia Pacific to be elected as the Chairman of the World Federation of Insurance Intermediaries (WFII). He is involved in setting strategic directions of the company.

Tony Lim

CEO/Managing Director

Tony joined Acclaim as Managing Director in 2011. He specializes in the structuring, implementation and servicing of global and regional risk solutions for clients with operations that span across the globe. Tony’s current focus is to lead Acclaim into the next stage of growth and expansion.

Robert Tan

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Robert joined Acclaim in 2002. He advises clients on all classes of insurance. His focus and specialisation are on construction projects and heads the Distribution Division which is responsible for client outreach and opportunity sourcing in the market.

Jennifer Chiow

DIRECTOR (CORPORATE SERVICES)

Jennifer has 13 years of experience in regulatory compliance and 24 years of experience in finance. She leads Acclaim’s legal, compliance and finance teams. As Acclaim’s appointed Data Protection Officer, Jennifer works closely with the Monetary Authority of Singapore including matters related to insurance regulations, terrorism and anti-money laundering.

Grace Ang

DIVISIONAL DIRECTOR (CLIENT MANAGEMENT)

Grace joined Acclaim in 1993 and she has been in the insurance industry for 28 years. She manages SMEs, Global and Multi-National Accounts from overseas. She also works closely with our global networks, strategic Japanese partners and clients in Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam and Malaysia.

Julie Lim

DIVISIONAL DIRECTOR (EMPLOYEE BENEFITS)

Julie joined Acclaim in 2004 and has over 20 years of experience in customer and corporate account servicing with strong emphasis in employee benefits insurance account management. Currently she heads the Employee Benefits team and is responsible for the team’s overall strategy and performance.

Michael Lee

DIVISIONAL DIRECTOR (MARINE)

Michael currently heads the Marine division at Acclaim, bringing with him more than 40 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Acclaim, Michael was with a major international insurance broking firm as Director of their Marine division. He has served in senior roles in the world’s largest firm of Average Adjusters and subsequently in an IG P&I club.

Shirley Lim

DIVISIONAL DIRECTOR (CLIENT MANAGEMENT)

Shirley has 38 years of extensive broking experience with global insurance brokers before joining Acclaim in 2015. She currently leads her team to handle risk management and retail broking in the areas of Property and Casualty where she specialises in the designing, structuring and managing of complex global programmes.

Stephen Chan

DIVISIONAL DIRECTOR (CLIENT MANAGEMENT)

Stephen has 45 years of experience in the insurance industry and joined Acclaim in 2015 to lead a team that manages accounts focusing on medium to large corporate clients in the general insurance lines. He has extensive experience in the design, structure and management of complex programmes and affinity schemes.

Freddie Tan

Divisional Director (Financial Risk Solutions/Technical Advisory)

Freddie has previously worked with international insurers focusing on specialty liability insurance and handled complex liability claims especially for the maritime industry. With a background in chemical engineering and law (LLB, PgDip (Legal Practice) and LLM), Freddie is involved in drafting of policy wordings, contract reviews, R&D for new emerging risks and complex liability claims within Acclaim. Freddie has professional memberships in arbitration (Singapore Institute of Arbitrators) and claims adjusting (UK Association of Average Adjusters).

K. Sarogenei (Saro)

SENIOR Director (Financial Risk SolutiIONS)

Sarogenei (Saro), a qualified lawyer, commenced her insurance career as a Claims Manager in an international insurance broking company.

She has a wealth of experience as an insurance broker and claims handler. Her specialty is in Financial Risks insurance products such as Professional Indemnity insurance for a wide spectrum of professionals, Directors’ & Officers’ Liability, Investment Managers PI, Medical Malpractice, and Cyber Risk Insurance, etc.

Saro is skilled in reviewing and drafting appropriate wordings for a myriad of insurance policies which include the Law Society of Singapore Compulsory PI Scheme policy, Cyber Risk, and Directors’ and Officers’ Liability policies.
