Key Takeaways from the Brokerslink APAC Meeting in Bali 

In May 2025, our Chairman (Anthony Lim), CEO (Tony Lim), and Executives (Christopher Wong and Yap Hui Da) attended the Brokerslink Asia Regional Meeting in Bali, hosted by our Indonesian partners MIR. As part of Brokerslink — a global network connecting independent brokers and specialty risk firms — the event was a valuable opportunity to deepen regional ties and share strategies. 

Key highlights included: Indonesia’s tariff restrictions, which limit pricing flexibility and elevate the importance of strong client relationships; Brokerslink’s partnership with Swiss Re to develop a real-time, multi-national servicing platform; and strategies from the Employee Benefits panel to curb medical inflation — such as multi-year premium lock-ins and wellness programmes tied to negotiated rates. 

For Acclaim, it reinforced two priorities: 

• Promoting preventive care to help clients manage long-term costs 

• Leveraging our global Brokerslink network to support clients expanding into Asia and beyond — often exceeding what multinational brokers offer

Amid global uncertainty, the optimism and collaborative spirit across Asia was evident — a strong reminder that relationships and tailored solutions remain central to how we deliver value.
