One of the most prestigious water sports events was scheduled to take place in Singapore. The event had a scale second only to the Olympics for water sports. Some statistics below

Property and Liability risk coverage for 6 major sites, including the competition venue, training sites, pools, open water coverages
Bespoke cancellation coverage for each location and event
Athlete Liability
Broadcast Interruption
Waterborne risks like contamination, shutdowns and contamination
Overall millions in aggregated coverage

Through over 9 months of planning with the organiser, we managed to secure coverage for these unique risks, including the largest event cancellation insurance cover ever placed into the Singapore market. We looked at the necessary specialised and unique risks especially where cancellation and event curtailment risks were necessary especially outdoor events that were affected by Singapore’s climate, as well as the necessary property and liability risks for spectators, participants and athletes

Beyond the event, we had also managed to secure relevant coverage for Construction All Risks for new facilities constructed specifically for the event, including temporary holding areas, new pool facilities and buildings
